Full Endoscopic Spine Surgery - Minimally Invasive Solution for Back Pain

How does ESS work?

Unlike traditional techniques, ESS uses a high-definition camera attached to an endoscope that is inserted through a small incision of only ¼ inch. This allows the surgeon to precisely locate the source of the pain in the spine, such as a herniated disc or spinal stenosis, without making large cuts or damaging surrounding tissues. The result is a much faster recovery, with less postoperative pain and a shorter or even outpatient hospital stay.

Benefits of Endoscopic Spine Surgery

  1. Faster recovery: Patients can return to their daily activities sooner thanks to the minimally invasive nature of the procedure.
  2. Less postoperative pain: By minimizing damage to surrounding tissues and muscles, patients experience less pain and require fewer pain medications after surgery.
  3. Shorter hospital stays: In many cases, ESS can be performed on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home the same day.
  4. Effective results: By directly addressing the source of the pain through precise visualization, endoscopic spine surgery offers a long-lasting and effective solution.
